Our youngest stud Stallion has been shown very lightly. He won Shropshire & West Midland at his first show and second at Aberystwyth. We have used him extensively and his first crop of foals are very promising. Filly Foal exported to USA, Colt exported to Germany. With several mares retained in the stud Satinwood has now been sold to Mr Tom Jones of the Cae'r Delyn Stud in Anglessey. Has been shown in 2009 prizes including 6th Royal Welsh to date. 2007 Liver Chestnut 13.1hh Sire: Millcroft Royal Lustre Dam: Millcroft Penny Lane Sire: Thornwood Royalist Louis was purchased as a foal from John & Maggie Carter of Millcroft as an out cross for our mares. With three crosses of Downland Mandarin and goes back to B. Rockwell Berwyn on the dam's side. We have used him on 3 mares in 2009 and is currently not available at Public Stud. Was shown by Adam Fletcher at Royal Welsh 2009, placed 4th in 2 year old colt class to date. |
